Terms of Service/ Disclaimer
While we do our best to remain your favorite web development company and digital marketer, there are situations however beyond our control and we are open to work with you to remedy such, if there is something we can do.
By working with us, you agree with these terms of service;
- Every effort is made to keep the website up and running smoothly. However, Afobata takes no responsibility for, and will not be liable for, the website being temporarily unavailable due to technical issues beyond our control.
- We create websites and online platforms and deliver to our clients and do not bear responsibilities for whatever business they use it for and whatever content they put on them.
- While we do everything possible to serve you well, Afobata would not be able to begin your job without an advance payment. This will enable us purchase the domains, hosting, templates and every other things needed to kick off your dream website.
- It is the duty of the client to provide the domain names, emails, phone numbers and addresses to be used for the website. We assume them correct and may not be able to do any verifications to get them on. They can also always be modified except in the case of domain names, which is why you need to always cross-verify.
- We set up websites for people from different countries and understand that our clients, though Nigerians might also get jobs from foreign firms and individuals to hand over to us, please confirm the timeline and job patterns with both Afobata and your clients to ensure we can work together. This is because website patterns may differ by countries and while we try to make sure we are as universal as possible, you can help us with samples to get as close as possible to what you have in mind.
- Please note that we have a two-month free maintenance for the websites we create. This is because websites once delivered on average do not develop any issues and even if they do, by the second month every functions and tools would have been running effectively.
- In no event will we be liable for any loss or damage including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from loss of data or profits arising out of, or in connection with, the use of this website.
- We send our clients their log in details (emails, phone numbers, usernames, passwords, etc as applicable) on delivery of the websites and delete them from our side according to company policy. Please ensure you keep that safe as we do not keep them on our end, as well as make sure the emails and phone numbers attached to them are accessible as many web hosting platforms activate two-factor authentication by default, and you will be needing them to confirm sign in as well as recover passwords.
